Capital Visit
Good afternoon, everyone! After today's meeting with TEC on the issues we all face with our good friends in the telecom space, BEC has reached out to our lobbyist to request an in person meeting with Representative Rafael Anchia. If we are successful with securing that meeting, we will send out a notification to ensure we have several of us present to fully explain our successes and constant challenges we face day to day as we continue to meet the needs of our members while maintaining grid reliability.
Thanks-Shane Schmidt BEC

Powerline Alliance Inc aka LiteWave LLC
Has anyone had experience with these contractors? They are doing powerline and fiber work.

RFI for subdivision of PAUs
Is anyone else looking at filing a response to this RFI? Using the census tracts does not play well with our service area, I think we are going to try to split them into census block groups.
Anyone else?

I believe the NTIA was requiring a "census defined boundary" (census blocks should work) or a geographical boundary (river, highway, etc.) I think the response is due tomorrow, I turned ours in listing groups of census blocks that we want to serve within a tract. Our justification was that it was in our service territory and would reduce the cost per subscriber due to pole permitting and planning. Allen Marshall Bandera Electric
